Another cv of the famous Hawaiian Bill Moragne hybrids. Erroneously named grainy rorong in Thailand.

Enormous flowers up to 5 1/2 inches. One of the largest flowers of the famous Moragne hybrids which are famous for their very large flowers and outstanding colours. Huge soccer ball sized flower heads/bunches.

Unique patternation starts out a very deep and pure dark red /crimson colour which changes to a very unique grainy and blotchy splashed patternation of claret and cerise coloration. 

Fragrance is very strong cinnamon and nutmeg! Highly recommended.

King Napranum

(aka Teresa Wilder U.S.A). Famous in the USA where it is well known  as cv. Kauka Wilder. Sometimes called Solar Flare.

Discovered in Australia, on an abandoned aboriginal church mission site in the bush not far from the aboriginal township of Napranum on the Nth. Western Gulf of Carpentaria.

Believed to be brought to this area by the Samoan missionaries. An exceptional frangipani (plumeria) variety with large propeller shaped flowers of intense colors.

Leela

Leela is one of  Thailands most famous and highly regarded cultivars. Large bunches of huge 5-6 inch multi colored flowers with thin red stripes radiating out from the centre thru the pastel toned yellows, oranges and pinks.

Lilac Clouds

This beautiful cultivar of unknown origin originated in Australia. It has taken the frangipani (plumeria) world by storm. We consider this cultivar to be the most beautiful of the lilac lavender frangipani cultivars other than JL Metallica.

Individually the flowers are not as impressive as Jacks purple, however, lilac clouds produces very large bunches of flowers, all over the tree, hence the name lilac clouds.

This cv is very similar to Indonesian violet but  is superior and has a strong red eye in the center.

Like most of the lilac lavender colored frangipanis, Lilac clouds needs a lot of heat and humidity. Otherwise the flowers can be a pale greyish pink/greyish white. Hence this cultivar looks its absolute best in the tropics.
